LAYM40 MOV100A series are suitable to low voltage power supply system for protection of equipment from surge and transient over-voltage caused by the outside environment (such as lightning, EMI, switching effects of the system) or internal environment (power on and off, startup or shut off of inductance and capacitance loads, etc.) with the following features.
- High current discharge ability, the maximum discharge current is 40kA(8/20μs waveform), quick response, low residual voltage, safe and high reliability.
- Plastics shell of flam resistance material (Class UL94-V0) can effectively prevent fire disaster.
- Automatic disconnection function provides over-voltage and over-heated protection and display function.
- Remote signal alarm (isolated or connected contacts).
- Hot plug-in installation approach supports maintenance while in operation and thus do not interrupt the power supply in the plug-in process.
- Easy installation, it can fix on DIN rail with 35mm width.
